PLAYGROUND is a project I did with Daniel Zamarbide, an architect from Geneva. Roman Juon, responsable for building Geneva's playgrounds, asked us to conceive a game installation for Micheli-du-Cret's school playground.
We decided to create a playing area covered with colorful swiveling doors. |

By opening or closing the doors, the children would modify the space in which they play, transforming in turns a closed space in a corridor, or a maze.
The relative "neutrality" of the game area - no specific theme - allows the children to use their imagination to invent game scenarios, within a specific structure. |
